New Phase of Life !!!

I joined EMC in a Cold December. It was like a dream comes true for me. Still I was having lots of confusions.

I was waiting for my first child... After the so called waiting period is over, it happened. I was so happy to see her. Just like every other parent I also started thinking about the future of my daughter. What NAME should be given? Searched a lot for a first-class name. At last HE gave her a good name. He is my mentor; he guides me all through my life here. So I didn’t have a second thought.

I borrowed lots of books from the Library, on Internet, to find out the new technologies that I can guide her. I wanted her to be one among the top. When the first child is born in the family, the grand parents, uncles, aunties and all others never let the child set a step in the ground. They will carry her all around. But SHE was having “no” Grand parents, no Uncles and no Aunties. It was me all around her. So I had to observe each and every step of her.

When she wrote her graduation exam, I was more tensed. She never bothered about it. Once she got her graduation, new requirements came. She started learning for her Masters. For a span of time, she was away from me. I was so sad. I never expected this. She completed her Masters and came back. My next headache was to find a good job for her. At last she got selected for the best. Now everyone looks at her and admires her. She is one among the top. She is having a gold medal in her Masters and a very good job too.

It was HIM who told me its time to start thinking of her marriage. We started our search for a good guy. A very suitable date is fixed. So many friends of mine will be coming from abroad too to see her and bless her. Everything happened to be good and great by Gods' Grace..

Now my duty is over, but still I do have lots of tensions. Because she is going to step into this big world. For me, she is still a child. So many visitations may come in. I wont be there to help her out all the time.

This is Nature’s Law. After a period we all will be alone. We have to learn by ourselves, to solve the concerns that come along our alleyway.

I will be posted to a new project soon; my new unknown child is waiting there... So again I have to start my cycle. From the beginning…Checking for a good name …..

Here I can start a new cycle. But in real life, I don’t think we will have a chance to rethink about our decision. So be wise in all the things you do. You cannot rub anything from your life, because you are using a permanent marker...

Traffic Jam and the Unknown Girl !!!

I thought of stop writing the blogs. But I was getting lots of threads after that ...

Bangalore, the place which was part of Ganga Kingdom, is referred to as a place in which a battle was fought in 890, now called as the IT Hub, or Silicon Valley of India.

I did rather call it by another name, "The City of Traffic- JAMs". These days, Traffic Jams' irritate the man a lot. Some new website (http://btis.in) has been launched with the updated traffic images of popular location in Bangalore.

When we come to office, @ morning 8.00, there will be traffic Jam in some places near to Bhommanahalli, and for sure, in Madiwala. I always hated Traffic Jams; but now that gave me my new thread for the blog.

One fine day morning of November, we were struck up in the Jam, near to madiwala Ayyappan Temple. The songs were playing non stop from my cell phone. I could see lots of people waiting for the bus, some eagerly waiting to cross the road. It takes too much time to cross the road too.

These days, I was trying to enjoy each and every moment, in the block, watching new people, and new faces.

That day I saw a "girl", in green Churidar, heading towards the bus stop. I don’t no what made me notice that girl, may be her charm, or the way she dressed. I could see lots of modern girls around. But she was not wearing any modern types of dress. Simple, but good one. May be because of that I noticed her. (In our college days we used to tease other guys, calling them MLA's, Mouth Looking Agents. I am afraid I am doing the same thing now.)..Anyway I couldn see her properly, as the signal turned to green, and our cab started from there.

The very next day I was eagerly waiting to reach madiwala, and to stop at the signal... I was peeping outside the window so that I can see the signal. Finally I saw the signal is coming down to red. So we stopped the same place as we were yesterday. The same girl was there, Today I found out the ID card she was wearing. But couldn read the same,

I could see her everyday morning. (It will be better to say, I searched her everyday :-D). So the same story was continuing for the full week. On friday she was wearing a modern dress. I have heard from my friends that Infy Guys are allowed to wear non formal dress on friday. So I assumed, she is working for Infosys.

One day after seeing the girl, I was into a deep thought.

She never knows that I am watching her, its almost a month time, I am seeing her. But she never realized that.

So many people will be watching us everyday from some where, we could even think of.

God Himself is there, watching each and every man, what he is doing, where he is going and what he is thinking. But we never see him or bother him.

There is a small proverb in Malayalam, translation is something like this "Cat is having the milk by closing its eyes." The cat thinks that no one will see him, if it closes the eyes.

These days I cant see her, at the bus stop... Everyday when the cab reaches madiwala, I will sneak a look through the window in search of her. But...

Where is she.. She changed her timing, or she moved from madiwala.
OR SHE GOT "FIRED"... God Knows !!!

Last Message through orkut !!!!

There was a King, who was so popular to the neighboring countries. He was such a powerful King, so that the entire people in the Kingdom was afraid to talk a single word against him.

One day a man came to meet the king. He told he is having very good attire for him. King was happy when he heard that .

Before the man handover the costume to king, he told that very intelligent people can only see this.

And handed over the Dress. There was nothing is his hand. King also knew that. But he couldn tell tat, cos if he is going to tell that then he will be told as a fool, As intelligent people can only see the cloth.

So he removed all the cloths, and pretended to wear the virtual cloth. He got into this chariot and went through the streets of his kingdom. Lots of people gathered to see him. They started praising his new attire. King was so happy. He thought the entire kingdom is so intelligent..

But there was a boy who saw king coming in the chariot wearing nothing.

So he couldn praise his attire. But he talked loudly..

"The King is NUDE!!!! "

The only one who was courageous in the entire kingdom.

We are also watching the king being wearing nothing. We know the king is nude. Still..

Its high time, we should also speak out like the child that "the king is nude"..

I am done with this. So this is my last message to you all through orkut ...

I am going to stop orkutting.

I will be available always in my yahoo and gmail mail id.. I think you all know that.

So all the best.

"Be courageous to tell the truth.
Share the truth with others..
Ask them to speak out..
Otherwise we are exactly like the kingdom of that great KING"

“Rain Slashed away the Hopes “

Nov 23, the 3rd One Day International between India and England in Bangalore.

We visited “Chechi’s” house, on Saturday(22/11/08). Uncle was asking about the Cricket match on Sunday. He told he is having 4 tickets for Sunday, and gave to us. So me, my brother, Chechi and "little sister" planned to go.I was in sort of confusion. Usually I watch cricket in first 10 and last 10 overs. So I thought it will be boring to be there for 100 overs.

We came back home from church at 11.30. So hurried back to stadium, as the game starts at 2.30 P.M. When we were approaching stadium, we could see long queue waiting outside. It was the first time, I was going to watch a cricket match in stadium. After seeing the enthusiasm of the fans, we were also excited. Our “little sister” painted herself with Indian flag. There were lots of guys with Indian Flags and Caps. I also thought of buying a flag.

We bought a flag for 30 RS, and got one whistle also, so that we can also join with the other guys. The queue started to move on. And finally we got into the stadium.

I was really so excited when I saw crowd. My brother used the word “electrifying crowd” to describe them. We could see both the teams, practicing in the net.

Robin Singh was assisting with the batsmen, while Prasad was helping Irfan Pathan for bowling. The crowd was having different bands and other whistles. Almost all the people painted their faces with tri color Indian flag.

But i was looking for some funny charecters, whom the camera man focusses usually. Atlas i found out some. There was around 20 guys who were in full yellow.

I was so sure that they will be caught by the camera eyes. There were others also with different, and funniest costumes.

Then suddently from one side to other, the "waves" started. We could see the people standing up and sitting down, like waves of ocean. Real Ocean of cricket fans.

I have heard from my friends, that we cant see anything. The score board wont be visible, as the stadium is so big, and we are too small. But there was a big screen, So I was checking the screen for the updates.

We could see Ravi Shastri in the screen with the captains. I searched in the ground to see them. Atlast found out that, they are in a corner with the Toss. We called home, and found out that India is going to bat.

After some 5 minutes, the players came to the ground.

The crowd welcomed Sachin and Shewag with great round of applauses and whistles. Crowd was screaming, for each balls. Drums were beating up. I also took part with the small whistle which I bought when we came.

I was trying to get some good pics, so that I can put in the orkut. I tried different types. Atlast I got a picture.

Shewag was in great form. For each four and six the full stadium was standing up and clapping out. Sachin got out at 11, clean bowled. So there was a break of bands. But the next batsman was Gautam, who also took part with Shewag’s big hits. So the crowd became excited again.

After some 10 overs there was a break. The pitch was getting bad. The grounds men came and started repairing it. I could see some more people with funniest costumes.

The game started again. Then we got a call from house, telling its raining out there. So we knew it is going to rain in a couple of minutes. The clouds gathered so fast. And it started raining. At the very first moment, Umpires stopped the play and grounds men ran with the cover ups.

In couple of minutes the ground was jam-packed with water. We also thought of taking a break. Went out to get some food. The rain sprayed up all over the ground.

We got a news that it will resume in another half an hour. The flood lights were turned on. Match referee and other umpires came and checked up the ground.

The crowd’s passion also watered up. But once they saw the players coming up the ground, it started with the same excitement as the commencement.

Shewag atlast hit his 50, and Gautam with a good support was on the crease. The total overs were reduced to 44.

I got enough time to think a lot about the cricket and the players when rain hit the ground. The balling team (England), was not having so much of fans, as it was not there home court. More than 25,000 people were making thunderous sounds for just 2 people, who were batting. The energy they get while they are on the crease will be enormous.

Only 4 more overs were balled. So the over came to 18 mark. The rain again started. And the players went back to the dressing room.

Once again the ground got her blanket back. We knew that it is not possible to continue the match as the rain was making headway so fast. We left the stadium in 5 minutes. After reaching home, saw that again the match started, with overs cut to 22.

Even though rain slashed away lots of time, and overs, it was a good experience. We could see the electrifying crowd, and the great team India. When we left the stadium, so many birds where on stage inspite of the rain.

"Dark clouds took me 6 years back"

Dark clouds gathered in the sky and nature was in its best. I took a break from my work and went to the pantry to grab a cup of coffee. I had a sip and went near the window to watch the nature outside. I was inside our huge office building, unruffled by even the fierceness of the nature.

Through the heavy transparent glass, I could see so many small houses down.

I found out small little boys flying kites in of them. There were many groups of boys in the roof of each flat, trying to launch their kites. Some are flying so high while some are on the run way. I could feel the enthusiasm of those boys, though I was not with them.

As our childhood gives us sweet and cold memories, mine was so also with much of fun. I vividly remember those days. But I do remember my college days, especially when I was doing my Under graduation. (The truth is that I was never in college during my pre degree days. Was enjoying in Movie Theaters :-). Anyway for name sake or so I can also tell I also belong to the last pre degree batch in one of the ancient colleges of India).

Coming back, I joined for my UG in MES Asmabi College, Thrissur, where my parents are working. From the first day onwards I was having a feeling that I am put up in a cage. (May be Tihar Central Jail :-D ) even though I was with my parents. I had very few friends that too most of them the teachers of college, as they are the friends of my parents. Used to play badminton with the Professors who stayed in the hostel. I was like a bird put up in a cage. During my pre degree days, there was no one to control. I was my own owner. No Classes more classes. Bunk, go to net cafe, movie theatre etc etc... Fun filled days. After that, now I was in pressure to attend all the classes from the morning to eve. Used to come to college with dad and mom before 5 minutes of bell. Left the college at right time.

Asmabi was a very small college compared to CMS college where I did my pre degree.

(Courtesy: Vimal )

There was no other place to roam. Everything is just walkable distance. Library, canteen and auditorium, everything was so near. In CMS College, if we want to go to library we should probably get an auto.

But things started to change a lot by the end of first year. I got lots of good friends. Especially two which was so near to my heart, Anvar and Shihab. We planned for some skits and drama’s in the Arts Festival. I wrote the drama. I was playing the role of a father who is in his old age. Though we only got 2nd prize, that made us popular J

There were two political parties strong in our campus. SFI and KSU. I was really interested in KSU when I was in school. But when I started to hear more about SFI and the students who were working, I also planned to join that. For the first times, when we go for the strikes through the “Verandas” my dad comes by back and used to catch me. After some bitter experiences, I made a plan. When English Dept. comes I will go in the middle of the crowd, so that he cant come and pick me up. Hehehehe J

Even after years I passed out from that college, I can visualize the scenes of making simple issues, creating troubles for a strike. At those days we used to tell the principal that there was some fight in the nearby college and we are going for a strike. Even though it was strike day and no classes will be taken, the students never used go home till eve. They will sit in the verandas and chat. That’s the special thing about Asmabi, no one will never ever forget it in his life.

(Courtesy: Vimal )

We started writing and getting it published in the college magazines. Every year we used to write something. We were having a group, who used to perform in the Arts Festival. When we were in final year I don’t know how many events we took part. Tableau, Drama, Mimicry, Monoact, Elocution, Kolkali, whatever be, we will be der to participate.

The great memories of our college days comes with a college election too. When we were in Second year I started to take part in elections also. The Election day, Fight between the winning and loosing groups, Union Inauguration, Fine Arts Festival and at last College day.

Like leaves falling from a tree in summer, the years also went so fast. Three years went like 3 minutes. UG also got finished so fast. But still when I see a picture of my old college, it reminds me about all those memories. Long lasting memories, which I will never forget in my life Every one will have such memories in life. These good times only help us to cheer up when we are sad, and old. When we are aged, these memories will stand like a wall and tell us, come on lets go to our past and enjoy the good old days we had.

Now, I can see the boys firm with their kites flying it so high, with all the fun which I lost a long time back. But I do have memories which give me full energy to live more than 100 years. :-)

A "Dua" for you..

About the title : Its a "DUA"(small prayer) for you. May be u can take it in two ways. A "Prayer for you" or small experience of a "Dua" - for you... I mean the both...

I attended a lecture last week. I don't remember the topic actually. But after some days it made me think about the topic. The speaker was talking about the different lifestyles of people. But at that point of time, it didn’t make any sense. Yesterday one of my friend added a new video to orkut. I used to check the updates. So I logged to youtube to see the original video.

That video was more than what i expected. It was a small "DUA" sung by a small child. I downloaded it and copied to my mobile. Today while coming to office in cab, i was listening to the "Dua".. It made me think a lot. So took the laptop and stared writing. I got my next topic for the blog... :-)

I was just watching other people passing through my window. They all look like similar??? No there are some distinctions. There are boys and girls. In boys, there are again differences. Some are tall, some are short. Some have different complexion. Some are looking so good. Some others have good hair style. So i could find so many differences. If we are going much deeper, we can see lots of other physical distinctions...

You may be thinking that i am going out of topic. No... I m not. We are watching all these things everyday, may be. So what is there to tell. What made me to write into a blog.

You wont be thinking in the same direction what I think. Bcos each and every man has his own ideas. Extremely different from others.

During our school days, may be till 10th we all learn the same things. After that for +2 we are getting separated to different streams. Some will go to commerce stream, others to science stream, and so on... After that different other degrees and post graduations.

May be now u r an engineer, a lawyer, a teacher, a scientist. What ever be, we all play crucial role for the nation building. Our forefathers did so many things, so we are enjoying life now. The technology is so advanced, From STONES to CHIPS.. Change is happening every where. (Its happenening in US too :-) Obama the great leader urges for change now.. )

If I am going to sleep from morning to evening for whole week, What will you think about me. "HE is MAD :-)".. May be we all are doing the same thing. Physically we all are awake now,(I guess, otherwise u cant read this :-) ). But I will say, we all are sleeping. This is case of all who is not aware "WHAT HE IS and WHAT HIS DUTY IS.."

We do work. But mechanically, not knowing what we are doing. There are lots more,. We can do something to others and to this world. If Edison thought of sleeping all the day, we would have been in dark without a bulb.

Some where some one is watching you... You wont be knowing about that.. So its time to wake up. It doesn’t mean that u have to stop what u r doing. Do something which you like, Some thing additional too…

May be that will play a crucial role in next generation....

Once Again I started my Journey to Ettimadai....

Once again I started my journey to Ettimadai, Amrita. Wanted to collect the TC and other certificates. I was planning to go on 9th. As it was a holiday there I postponed my trip to Friday 10th. Usually when I am thinking about Ettimadai, I will be caught by some sort of tensions. But this time, after passing out from there, I was experiencing a different feeling. May be cos I know I am not going to be there for more than a day :-)

By 11 PM my bus started to roll from Bangalore to Coimbatore. I was listening to some good music in my new mobile. My brother used to say me not to listen too much of music or songs. May be he knows very well that it will take us to dreams :-). I started dreaming, dreaming about the good life we had in Amrita.

By morning 7.30 or so I reached coimbatore. From there I need to take No. 48 or No. 96 bus to Ettimadai. I got No. 48 Bus, and well sited with a good seat near to a window.

Its really so hot there from the morning itself. I could see the dry mountains through my window.

My mind was running faster than wheels. We spend almost 3 years there. Each and every frame that I saw through the window reminds of different stories. I am sure all my friends will be experiencing the same thing.

Atlast I reached Amrita. I thought still it’s the same old Ettimadai, and our Amrita. I took an auto from Ettimadai. I gave him 25 Rs, as usual. He told, it got changed, now its 30/-. In 10 months much things changed here.

I crossed the railway track. Reached the Entrance Gate. There was no change. The same old story there. Some Autos were parking outside waiting for the gate pass.

When I was there for the first time, I was amazed seeing a check post for a college. But our warden gave me a good answer. The inmates are only allowed to leave the campus to home only once in a month.

We found it irritating. But time has changed everything. We also started to love the ambience there (Not to study, but to sleep :-) ).

Walked towards the Main Entrance. I thought I will get the TC from office, then will go to department.

I got the TC in few minutes from Deans office. I wanted to see the main building. I don’t know how many times we were in Deans and Admin office, for permissions and Complaints. J Went to CCR (Center for Corporate Relations) office. It reminded me about the placement times. The same old notice board is having some new figures of the latest placements.

I started walking towards the IT block, where we lived our 3 years. I searched my bag for a book, so that I can place the TC. So went to our Departmental Store to get the Book. The Gym, College Ground and the store, three favorite spots in Amrita gave lots of memories. Now I really felt bad without my friends. I realized the power of friendship. We used to have our lunch from PG mess. So we had to walk from IT block to PG mess, through these roads. Now the road is empty. But I could visualize the group of students from MCA, walking towards the PG Mess.

I didnt have my breakfast from Outside. So I thought I will have it in MBA Canteen. The route to MBA canteen can be called as Lovers path. We used to sit in these places after coming out of MBA canteen to watch the loving Couples and their private moments in the campus (A sort of “Mouthlooking” :-)) through these paths.

I could find some new faces in MBA Canteen, may be some 1st Year MBA Students. I was searching for the Menu Notice Board. The same old “Set Dosa”. The “chetans” there recognized me. After having breakfast, started to IT block.

There are lots of changes. The building has got a new face. I was trying to get into the usual steps. But that was blocked and new steps are constructed. In the mean time I found “Satish Anna”, our department Clerk. We went to the department. In Chairman’s cabin Kumar Sir was sitting and browsing. Don’t know whether he got appointed as Chairman.

Some words echoed from the office “Be Innovative, try to find out something new”, the words of our Ramanathan Sir. One day we went to get permission for the Farewell Party to our Seniors. Then he was telling, try to conduct some good programs too. He showed us some “Chinese Torch” which is having muti functionalities. He started explaining about the Chinese Innovation and all.

I was in search of LP Mam, Jayakumar Sir and all. Spoke to them, I was so happy. Sir was telling, he still remember about our first semesters. I was so shy to talk to others. May be I was the odd one. But time has changed everything during rest of our semesters. Jayakumar Sir was our Tutor for 4 semesters.

After that I planned to see our Juniors. So asked them to come to IT Canteen. I was surprised that all of the guys bunked the class and came to canteen. I had a very good time with them. We used to gather for small Bday celebrations in the canteen. We never had a Senior – Junior Relationship. We used to call ourselves, MCA Family.

I went in search of our Warden. One new hostel has been built there.

Ours was Gautama Bhavanam. We were the first occupants in that newly constructed hostel. Moreover we spend most of our time there in the hostels. We used to play in the hostel grounds with 1st year Btech students, who are having hostel nearby ours.

I went to see my Room. D402. I could see the long straight road from there. (Pic taken by Sanooj Previously from our hostel... Now the view has changed a lot...)

Some more new floors have constructed. Had lots of Memories related to our Hostel life. I don’t think I can write everything. Its really lot.

I started back to the main gate through the Ashram entry.

We used to call this as “Small Kerala”, as the ambience is similar to our place. Full of greenery, and the corridor is so beautiful. It leads to Store, Guest House, Deans residence and the main entrance.

Then came the Guest House. It is related to our placement memories. All the interviews happened there.

We used to stay in the lawns of the guest house waiting for them who are attending the interviews. Placement season was the one which we realized the “Oneness among ourselves”. Though we are in different places now, I am sure Amrita guys won’t forget at least this one.

I reached the main entrance. The security Chetans are unforgettable. The railway gate is opened. Felt like the foyer to the world is now open for ever.

I know I will never ever come back to Amrita as a student. My student life has ended L Still the memories and our friendship will be there last longing.

When the bus started from Ettimadai, I could see Amrita going back through my Window.

After a point of time we all will leave our past like that and fly with the sweet memories. Once we are back there we could see someone new have taken our place where we lived. This is LIFE. We have to move on…

Trip to explore History - Nandi Hills !!!!!

The wheels started to roll again on 1st week of October 08. We started to Nandi Hills at 10.30 in the morning.

Heard a lot about Nandi Hills, about 60 kms north of Bangalore, also known as Nandidurga.. Nandi Hills was popular with the British too who built bungalows and laid out gardens there.

Last month we visited Shivansamudra. We traveled through Mysore road. This time, it was Hyderbad road. The long, straight and endless one.

But we faced some problem in the beginning itself. We had to change the car we were traveling. So about 45 minutes we had to wait for the new car.

By 12.15 or so we reached the base station of the hill. We could see villiage boys in road side to sell out the grapes. It was looking so fresh.

We stopped and got some grapes. From there, the road with big curves started. Nandi Hills is one of the summer retreats of Tipu Sultan.

My brother was taking pictures and videos from the front seat. It was so beautiful to see both sides of the road with flowers.

Nandi Hills is about 1478-m high which is the originating point of many rivers. We thought of stopping the car and having a look at the natures serene beauty. A group of 10 guys in Bikes, all in red just crossed our cars and stopped a bit front to ours. Though we didn’t reach the top, the view was awesome.

I also started taking pictures. My brother was having a new Nikkon Digi cam. The clarity of that is so good and is having a good zoom too. So I thought I can share some good pictures from him and put in the blog, no need to take pictures alone. (The pictures with Courtesy: GAJ (Gregory Anil Jacob) is taken by him in this blog.)

At last we reached the entrance. It was a first time experience for me. The entrance itself tells us about the ancient sculptors of Tipu Sultan.

We can find the ticket counter after this entrance itself. Most of the tourists parked their cars and started walking. My brother told we will take the car. So took the ticket and started in the car itself. The roads are pretty good.

We stopped in the sticks so that we can have our lunch there. The old stone statues, and lots more are still preserved there.

We took some pictures from there. In the mean time driver parked the car. There are lots of monkeys and stray dogs, which disturbed us through out our lunch time. My brother was so kind of them, so that he threw some food materials at them. In a short span of time, a gang of dogs and monkeys surrounded him.

He felt so touching by the looks of this monkey and that made him gave some of the foods to this guy. But that taught us a lesson.

After that we started walking towards the hill. Small amusement parks are there, so that the children can ease out a little bit. But the image is different here. After seeing the swing its my chechi and aunt jumped first. Almost the same story with all the tourists. All elders find it cool to play in the swing and other things.

We reached the top of the hill. We can see steps carved in rock leading to Yoga Nandishvara Temple.

This beautiful Chola temple has an inscription of Sambhaji, Shivaji's son. The Dwarapalakas, the splendid metallic figures are seen there.

The sun was in top of head. So it was really hot over there.

We walked towards Tipu’s Drop. The end point of the mountain. It is a 600 m high cliff face where according to legend, condemned prisoners were pushed to their death. It was told, on misty days when the wind wails in the trees, you can almost hear the blood-curdling screams of the prisoners as they met their gruesome end.

But look down on a clear day like the one we were there, the view is inspiring.

We thought of having coffee or tea. There are some hotels and restaurants nearby. But not for coffee and tea. Some thing “hot stuff”. We found a small hotel, where we thought we can get some coffee. As we had “luck”, the power not there. And the coffee vending machine was out of order. So took some ice creams.

In the mean time, brother was missing. We knew that he went in search of some good pictures. He found out a cannon.

The sun started setting down. So we started from there. After some 20 – 30 curves we reached base station. We are in straight roads now.

We all wanted to see the vineyard. Thought of stopping some where near to a vineyard. Altlast we found out one in Devanahalli..

But that was not a “Vineyard”. It was pumpkin plantation..

The sun was playing hide and seek over clouds when we approached Bangalore.

The day went so fast. Like the rays of sun coming out of the clouds, the good time we spend in nandi hills came flashing through our minds. We had dinner with Chechi’s family and went back home fast to have a nap.

Information Exchange ????

Last week i was attending one tech talk..

The speaker was telling about the revolution of Information Technology. About "Information Exchange". Each and everyone is having a mobile phone, with a camera. We do take pictures, send it to others, save it. We write blogs, and be a part of Information Exchanging.

But after that what i thought was really against tat.. Information revolution is taking place in the world from 10 years of now. World is growing so fast. But we lack so many things....

We dont have enough TIME.
We dont have time to read a newspaper, watch television.
We dont have enough time to talk to our friends.
We dont have enough time to spend with our family.

For what we are living ????

May be i can tell how I start a day and ends it..
Morning around 6.30 got up, start to office by 7.45 - 8.00, till 6.30 (some days till 8 - 9) at office, then back home. will reach home in another hour or so. Same movie continues for a week. Then came the big week end of 2 days.... It goes like a super fast train. Same thing next week.. And it continues... We are getting aged, when we complete a day, a month, an year and so on..

Most of them are like this, may be worse than this. !!!!

I was thinking about my grand dad's and mom's life before 40 or 50 years ago.
May be they were not living in metro cities. They were not having lots of money.

But they were having enough TIME, and peace of mind. They would have got enough TIME to spend with their family, friends and communicate with each other.

What we lack...

We are also getting TIME, We are also Communicating, but through mobile phones or emails, and that too very few.

But frankly speaking we dont have enough time for us, then how come we will find time for others. Of course not.

Now comes another gaint: "SLOW DOWN", "RECESSION"...

IT is bleeding, world is crying...

Rather than these, Bombs explodes every where...

We thought we are in safer side. But ...

Some extremists started fighting in the name of religion...

Terrorism going to get started in India tooo in name of Allah, Jesus Christ and Sree Krisha.. May be in very near future.

Still we dont think about a solution... We are busy finding out origin of Universe or BIG BANG.

"I" am leading,.. nothing other than this.

I need to ask you somthing.

How many people you know in this world. May be 1K, - 2k, if you r not a politican. Do we maintain a good communication with them alll.

If we do, i think 50% of the problem will get solved. If we can be part of their good and bad time, rest 20 % is also safe.

If no body is taking the charge, we can take that. First thing we should do is to retain the communication chain. Help out others in all aspects. Because we cant live in this world alone. We need help.

SO COMMUNICATE,
CARE others,
DELETE the "I" and save "WE"..

Come on we can create a new world....

A World of PEACE...
A World of Love.....

"ShivanSamudra" - Travelogue

A visit to Shivansamudra...

It was on 6th of August, my brother told we will go for a trip to "Sivansamudra", which is about 130 kms from bangalore on 9th . Some of his friends visited there, and its a great place to see.

So we started at around 7.30 am. It was a special trip cos of many reasons. After "Chechi" came to our family, it was the first trip we all were going together. We all were so excited... Packed some additional dresses also, so that we can enjoy the nature's shower for some time..

Mysore road is a straight one and so good, driver was driving in around 80-90 km/hr. While sitting at the back it was a lovely view of the long road. So thought of taking a picture from there. It came beautifical which i never expected.
By around 10.30 we stopped in to have our breakfast... A small place on the way, where no good hotels can be found. Driver told to get the lunch from there itself, as we wont be able to find some good restaurants in "SivanSamudra".. We bought some fruits and all from there, and started our journey.

As the car was moving so cool, it was not feeling like we are going in so much of speed. "Dumbsherads " made the trip much more funnier..

In the entrance of "Shivansamudra " we have to get the vechile pass or something like that..

Atlast by 11.15 or so we reached our target. What we saw from the distant view was amazing. I was seeing such a big water fall for the first time.

But something disappointed us. We heard that, there we can have boating, shower bath and all... But "Shivansamudra" was a place where we can watch the water fall from a distant view.

So we planned to go to "Bhara Chukki"...
First we thought its also like "ShivanSamudra", we can only watch the falls from a distant view. But we saw long steep steps to down. There we could find some boats and all.. So we started going down... Once we started climbing down, we found out the danger. The steps are so small, that we should be so careful, otherwise we will reach down within few seconds. It was really steeeppp steeep steps..

Once we reached down, we found out the "BOATs"..
For two persons, they charge 200/-. We took two boats, as we were 7. They took so near to the falls so that we can take photos.. It was really good to take pictures, but we could hear each others heart beating like drums. We were so near to that big water falls and the water is splashing to our camera's . I just dont wanted to take any more pics, but wanted to return back to shore..
Then the guy started rotating the boat.... that too so fastttttttttttt.... "Goddd".. i dont no what we did.. someone managed to come backkkk..

There were lots of people bathing and feeling the nature shower. So we also jumped to the shower.. More than 2 hours we spend there..

By around 3 we started back... There was some more places called as "Thalacadu" and all.. But cos of the time constraint we started back to bangalore.
On the way back, i was really thinking a lot.. About the creations of GOD... Anyway it was an experience worth sharing..

Five Point Someone -- Chetan Bhagat

Five Point SOmeone -- Chetan Bhaagat

"Five Point Someone is a story about three friends in IIT who are unable to cope.

The book starts with a disclaimer, "This is not a book to teach you how to get into IIT or even how to live in college. In fact, it describes how screwed up things can get if you don't think straight."

Three hostelmates - Alok, Hari and Ryan get off to a bad start in IIT - they screw up the first class quiz. And while they try to make amends, things only get worse. It takes them a while to realize: If you try and screw with the IIT system, it comes back to double screw you. Before they know it, they are at the lowest echelons of IIT society. They have a five-point-something GPA out of ten, ranking near the end of their class. This GPA is a tattoo that will remain with them, and come in the way of anything else that matters - their friendship, their future, their love life. While the world expects IITians to conquer the world, these guys are struggling to survive. "

A story very well told, mixed with strong emotions, love and a big lesson about the relationships.
The words of Prof. Cherian in Hari's dream is worth thinking...

"I realized that GPAs make a good student, but not a good person. We judge people here by their GPA. If you are a nine, you are the best. If you are a five, you are useless. But these boys have really something promising."

Throughout the story Chetan Bhagat is trying to sketch the beauty of friendship and the real IIT life.
